Very Rare and Sought After. 1933 Alvis SA 16.95 Sports Saloon by Charlesworth being the works experimental car and a prototype for the 2 new models to augment the newly established and highly successful 'Speed Twenty' and Crested Eagle ranges. Her engine was later up dated at the works with triple SU carburettors bringing it into line with the previous models of SA Silver Eagle Sports Saloons producing a very worthwhile enhancement to her performance. Added to the fact she has a close ratio 4 speed floor change box, this Alvis is undoubtedly unique as it is the only known survivor of this particular style of Charlesworth. She is in outstandingly good condition. Having in very recent years all her ash framework either refurbished or replaced where necessary with good spacing between her panels and a bare metal respray of good quality and now retaining a nice patina. Her interior is totally original and in truly unbelievably good condition. Her chrome work is excellent and she drives superbly having had all her mechanics totally overhauled. She has an extensive history file by Alvis and Alvis specialists including all letters, bills, original handbooks and manuals etc including lots of photographic evidence. A fantastic roomy 4-seater family touring car and quite unrepeatable. Would be the envy of any Alvis owner.

1931 Wolseley Hornet Tourer. The property of our own mechanic being 1st registered Jan 1932. Bodied by Eustace Watkins with an 1479 cc engine. During the period mid 1931 until our mechanic bought it, it had only one owner. It was his daily car until (he thinks) 1962 when it was laid up and all but forgotten. He bought it 17 years ago after rescuing it from its collapsed garage. It was given a "body off" restoration including the engine being stripped and rebuilt and much more besides. Most notably its original "Eustace Watkins" body was completely dismantled and all the wood was checked and replaced as necessary. The rebuilt frame then re skinned with aluminium. Painted and trimmed by local craftsmen and eligible for VSCC events.
